Shipping Update for our U.S. customers

Shipping to the United States

We want to share an important update regarding shipping to our U.S. customers.

The U.S. has suspended the de minimis exemption for low-value commercial shipments, so shipments to the United States may now be subject to customs duties, tariffs, taxes, or other import-related fees regardless of order value.

Many of our handmade products are made in Canada and may qualify for preferential tariff treatment under the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) when they meet the applicable rules of origin. However, CUSMA eligibility does not eliminate all customs procedures or guarantee that no fees will be assessed at the border.

We have recently seen some CUSMA-eligible shipments experience unexpected duties or other import charges, as well as delays during customs processing. Unfortunately, these charges and delays are determined by U.S. customs authorities and carriers and are outside our control.

We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these changing customs requirements. We will continue to provide accurate customs information with every shipment and do our best to ensure your order reaches you as smoothly as possible.

If customs procedures or tariff policies change, we will update this notice accordingly.

 

A Quick Shipping Note

To keep our shipping process simple and avoid confusion around customs charges and duties, we have decided to discontinue the DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) shipping option.

Orders will now ship using our usual shipping method, which helps keep shipping costs lower while giving us greater flexibility with carriers and delivery options. Please note that customs processing may occasionally affect transit times, and any applicable duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
