Shipping Update for our U.S. customers
We want to share an important update regarding shipping to our U.S. customers. Under the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), handmade goods valued under USD $800 should not be subject to tariffs when shipped from Canada to the U.S. However, we’ve recently seen some of our products being charged duties at the border despite this exemption. It seems that customs procedures are under extra strain, and unfortunately, this has led to delays and unexpected fees.
To help ensure your orders arrive smoothly and without being held at customs, we’ve decided to move forward with prepaid duties and taxes (Delivered Duty Paid – DDP). This means there will be a small additional charge at checkout, but it will cover these fees upfront and prevent your package from being stuck at the border.
We truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate this temporary challenge. Our hope is that customs procedures stabilize soon, and if the situation changes, we’ll update you right away. In the meantime, we’ll continue to stay on top of it so your orders reach you as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
